Scott Bethel - From Military Service to Business Leadership and Beyond

Scott Bethel has enjoyed a distinguished career focused on leadership, intelligence operations, and military service. His educational background includes degrees in political science from Northern Illinois University and Boston University, along with a master’s degree in strategic intelligence from the National Intelligence University, where he graduated with honors. Over his 27 years in the U.S. Air Force, Scott Bethel held various leadership roles, including commander, targeteer, and intelligence officer, earning commendations such as the Bronze Star Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Air Force Combat Action Medal.

During his military service, Mr. Bethel worked in intelligence analysis, briefings, and interrogation, receiving recognition such as the Federal Executive Gold Medal Award in 1998 and being named NATO’s senior intelligence officer of the year in 2000. After retiring from the Air Force, he founded Integrity ISR, expanding it from a solo consultancy to a business employing 40 people with $5 million in annual revenue. He now serves as director of operations at STR, where he manages over 120 short-term rental properties, handling day-to-day operations and guest services.

Mr. Bethel remains active as an author, speaker, and community contributor. He has authored multiple articles, books, and chapter contributions on topics ranging from national defense to intelligence and cybersecurity. He is also involved in his church and enjoys playing guitar and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
